I-kota, LLC, a general contractor operating in Denver and the Front Range, seeks a dedicated and reliable individual who shares our core values of Integrity, Customer Service and Growth to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable duties to include -
Processing of vendor invoices and subcontractor payment applications in a multi-entity environment, including entering such into Viewpoint Vista software
Assigning invoices and payment applications to general ledger expense / project cost codes
Reconciliation of vendor accounts and identification of discrepancies
Processing payments to settle open accounts payable, including assembly of invoices and related documents together with checks
Preparation of lien waivers for subcontractors, and administration of such to ensure all executed lien waivers are returned and archived
Review of employee expense reports, including review of supporting documentation substantiating the expenditures
Upload of Positive Pay data files to bank
Professionally and promptly responding to vendor and subcontractor inquiries
Annual generation of Form 1099 and related transmittal to Federal and State tax authorities
Such other A/P related duties as are customary or which may arise
Payroll duties to include -
Entry of payroll hours worked, and coding of these to projects and cost codes
Processing of payroll in the Viewpoint Vista system, and generating the data file for transmission to bank
Upload of data file to bank
- Timely payment of tax with holdings and payroll taxes
- Annual preparation and submission of Form W-2 to federal and applicable states
Accounts payable experience is essential.
Payroll experience is essential.
Experience in the construction industry preferred.
Experience with Viewpoint Vista software a plus.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation is competitive, ranging from $45,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, flexible spending account contributions, 401(k) plan to which the Company provides a match, paid time off, and several other Company sponsored perks.
