Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will serve as a key partner and right hand to the Divisional Controller, supporting operational accounting, monthly reporting, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
This role offers broad exposure across accounting, finance, and business operations, with opportunities to contribute to strategic projects including ERP migration, group integration activities, and expansion into new markets. Operating within a shared services model, the position coordinates with centralized accounting functions and maintains a dotted-line leadership relationship with two London-based team members supporting corporate accounting and business operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations & Close Management
- Support the month-end close process across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions
- Coordinate close activities with shared services and regional teams to help ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, clearing accounts, intercompany balances, and key accounting estimates
- Develop expertise in multi-currency accounting, foreign exchange impacts, and consolidation adjustments
- Assist with consolidated reporting requirements and integration into the parent company reporting structure
- Contribute to the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
Team Coordination & Shared Services Partnership
- Partner with shared services teams to support consistent, high-quality accounting processes
- Coordinate workflows across operational accounting, corporate accounting, and finance teams
- Collaborate with London-based accounting and financial operations team members to support daily activities and priorities
- Help establish scalable processes, clear ownership, and effective communication across global accounting activities
- Serve as a key point of contact between accounting, FP&A, operations, tax, treasury, and other business partners
Cash Management, Compliance & External Reporting
- Support cash management activities, including payment processes, cash visibility, and operational liquidity planning
- Build a strong understanding of VAT requirements across multiple jurisdictions and support accurate transaction processing and reporting
- Coordinate with external accounting firms and advisors supporting statutory reporting and local compliance requirements
- Support tax, audit, and regulatory requests by gathering information and assisting with analysis
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and reduce risk across accounting processes
Process Improvement & Systems Transformation
- Participate in accounting process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, scalability, and controls
- Play an active role in ERP migration and other finance system enhancement projects
- Support integration activities related to evolving business structures and operating models
- Evaluate accounting workflows and recommend improvements to reporting, reconciliations, and operational processes
- Partner with finance leadership to help document and standardize policies and procedures
Business Partnership & Special Projects
- Develop a strong understanding of the business model and related operational finance activities
- Learn end-to-end transaction flows and their impact on accounting, reporting, and business operations
- Support new market launches through process development, compliance considerations, and operational readiness activities
- Assist with ad hoc analyses, investigations, and special projects led by the Divisional Controller
- Roll up your sleeves to help solve accounting and operational challenges as business needs evolve
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
- Experience preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Exposure to multiple areas of accounting, such as general ledger, consolidations, revenue, AP, payroll, fixed assets, treasury, tax, or financial reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to take ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Experience
- CPA, CPA candidate, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
