Job Summary
We are seeking a high‑caliber Senior Associate (or Manager) to join our premier commercial tax consulting practice. This role focuses on delivering sophisticated tax solutions for a premier Fortune 100 client base, with emphasis on Reverse Audit Defense, complex recovery projects, and multi‑jurisdictional Sales and Use tax strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary technical advisor for high‑profile Fortune 100/50 client accounts, managing multi‑year relationships and complex project life cycles.
- Lead and oversee comprehensive Sales and Use tax recovery projects and manage complex audit defense engagements to mitigate exposure and maximize cash flow for clients.
- Provide expert‑level guidance on multi‑jurisdictional tax complexities, including nexus studies, taxability research, and transactional planning.
- Drive the growth of the Indirect Tax practice by identifying new service opportunities within existing accounts and mentoring a high‑performing team of managers and seniors.
- Monitor and analyze emerging tax legislation (e.g., Wayfair) to proactively advise clients on potential impacts to their global operations.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Indirect Tax (Sales and Use) within a Big 4 accounting firm or a specialized tax consulting boutique.
- CPA, JD, or LLM preferred.
- Deep, proven expertise in Reverse Audits, Audit Defense, and multi‑state Sales & Use Tax laws.
- Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with large, complex multinational corporations.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CompensationSalary range: $125,000 – $150,000 per year.
