Controller, Accounting, Financial Controller

Controller Position

A well-established architecture firm in Denver is looking for an experienced Controller to lead its accounting operations. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, combining technical accounting expertise with team leadership and operational ownership.

You'll lead monthly and annual financial reporting and close processes, oversee project accounting and billing, manage annual audits and internal controls, and lead a small accounting team. Qualifications:

• Active CPA
• Bachelors degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
• Project accounting experience such as WIP, POC, billing, job costing, etc.
• Experience in architecture, construction, or engineering industry
• Accounting software implementation or integration experience

Pluses:

• Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Deltek (Vantagepoint)
• Previous work in an architecture or design firm
