About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to support high-volume payroll operations for a leading hospitality organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, payroll reconciliations, compliance, reporting, and employee support. The ideal candidate has strong payroll expertise, advanced Excel skills, and experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and data validation.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Support quarterly and year-end payroll processes.
  • Prepare payroll reports, analyses, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Operations, and HRIS teams to maintain accurate employee data.
  • Assist with payroll process improvements and support escalated payroll issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of direct payroll processing experience.
  • Experience working with gratuities, tip reporting, and hospitality payroll practices is required
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and payroll compliance.
  • Experience processing payroll within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience with Paylocity.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • CCP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification.
