What

You’ll Actually Do:
  • Manage the comprehensive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all locations.
  • Oversee and streamline tracking for WIP, job costing, and P&Ls across various locations within a single master framework.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external audits, preparing financial statements and corporate schedules.
  • Establish robust internal controls, manage the comprehensive fixed asset ledger, and ensure corporate compliance across multi-state operations.
  • Deliver clean, accurate financial data directly to the FP&A team to facilitate timely reporting, variance analysis, and executive forecasting.
  • Mentor and develop the accounting team.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in standard corporate accounting functions alongside extensive experience in project-based, WIP accounting.
  • Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to adapt processes quickly based on business efficacy.
  • A highly collaborative, approachable, and team-oriented communication style.
  • Comfort operating within a lean, fast-paced private equity environment.
  • Experience in construction, or industrial trades is highly preferred.
  • Background working in a small-to-medium business environment is highly valued.
Where and How Much:
  • Target Compensation: $150K to $175K, 25% Target Bonus
  • Location:

    100% In-Office, South Metro Denver area
  • Benefits package:
    Includes health and life insurance, PTO, and 401(k) with 4% match. 8 days of holiday pay.
