Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $110,000 per year.

• Support daily accounting operations including payables, receivables and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy of financial data and records.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain integrity of accounts.
• Assist with month end close activities to ensure timely completion of financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze results and support process improvements across workflows.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting experience in a hands‑on environment.
• Demonstrate strong experience with general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and close processes.
• Possess exposure to payables, receivables and payroll related accounting functions.
• Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively with enterprise financial systems.

• Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Apply analytical thinking to investigate discrepancies and provide solutions.
• Adapt to changing processes and work effectively in evolving system environments.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Bring experience in service‑based or operational environments considered beneficial.
