Key Responsibilities for the Property Accountant:
• Manage accounting for construction, development, and capital projects
• Track job costs, construction draws, and capital expenditures
• Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Monitor construction-in-progress and handle cost capitalization
• Partner with internal teams on financial reporting and project tracking
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Qualifications for the Property Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3+ years of relevant Property Accountant or real estate accounting experience
• Experience with job costing, construction, or development accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Yardi
