Senior Specialist, Financial Analysis – Group Consolidation

Serve as a subject matter expert within the Global Consolidation and Corporate Reporting organization performing accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis activities.

• Apply accounting knowledge, professional judgment, and analytical expertise to support the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated financial reporting while contributing to process improvements and reporting initiatives.
• Prepare and review consolidation activities, financial reporting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation in accordance with established reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with domestic and international finance teams to support timely, accurate, and complete reporting of financial information.
• Support accounting and reporting activities related to investments in subsidiaries and other legal entities through the preparation of analyses, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and elimination entries.
• Perform analyses of consolidated financial results and communicate key observations, trends, risks, and issues to management.
• Maintain reporting instructions, reporting documentation, and supporting process materials.
• Execute control activities supporting the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audit activities through preparation of documentation, analyses, and responses to inquiries.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Eight years of experience, with degree.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting/finance.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Advanced computer skills.
• CPA and/or progress toward professional certification (preferred).
• Experience with in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred).
• Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidation, or accounting close processes (preferred).
• Experience working with large financial reporting systems and data sets (preferred).
