KPMG is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships across a variety of Asset Management clients.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver industry knowledge and experience; manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders while building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections and project budgets.
  • Advisethe clients and be accountable for delivering high‑quality tax service and advice.
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM (or other KPMG‑approved credential); if employment commences without an approved credential, the candidate must obtain one within one year.
  • Prior experience with pass-through entities, partnerships and corporations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and client service teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
