We're seeking Tax internship candidates for the Spring 2028 internship in Denver, CO. Tax interns will experience several areas of Tax, including tax return preparation, tax planning assignments, research projects, and tax projections. Interns will receive responsibilities similar to those of a first‑year staff.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing standards/theory
- Accurately and efficiently prepare tax returns and use feedback to prevent errors
- Prepare income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients
- Conduct research, analysis, development, and summarization of financial information
- Analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Maintain and organize client files in accordance with firm standards
- Work effectively with all levels of firm leadership to provide quality service to clients
- Receive mentoring through our Buddy program
- Working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting with a GPA of 3.2 or higher (junior, senior, or master’s student)
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
