A growing multi-entity organization is seeking an experienced AP & AR Specialist to join its accounting team. This role supports a diverse portfolio of operating businesses and investment holdings and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of their responsibilities with minimal supervision. This position will play a key role in accounts payable processing, intercompany billing, invoicing, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities- Process full-cycle accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Review, code, and enter invoices, including real estate-related accounts payable
- Manage billing of labor, time, and materials across multiple business entities
- Create and manage invoices within Quick Books Online
- Perform corporate credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with intercompany transactions and account reconciliations
- Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate expense allocation and billing
- Support accounting process improvements and system transitions as needed
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Quick Books Online required
- Experience with invoicing, billing, and accounts payable processing
- Credit card reconciliation experience required
- Understanding of AP coding and general accounting principles
- Experience supporting multiple entities or business units
- Sage Intacct or other ERP/accounting software experience
- Hospitality, construction, maintenance, or real estate industry experience
- Degree not required
- Relevant accounting, AP, bookkeeping, or industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
