Key Responsibilities of the Tax Analyst II
  • Prepare and review sales and use tax returns
    , ensuring timely and accurate filings
  • Manage the timely filing of all assigned tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare and analyze monthly use tax accruals
    , including related journal entries
  • Perform monthly tax account reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Assist with process improvements
    , automation initiatives, and system enhancements
  • Support tax audits by gathering documentation and preparing responses
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
Preferred Background for the Tax Analyst II
  • Bachelor's degree required (
    Accounting preferred
    )
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex account reconciliations
  • Minimum 2+ years of sales and use tax, indirect tax, or accounting experience
  • Experience with tax automation tools or ERP systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
