Accounting Manager

Supports the Metro Region Controller and CFO in overseeing all accounting operations across the Denver Metro region. Responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting; managing the monthly close process; supervising an accounting Manager and Staff; and serving as a key partner to facility-level finance leaders.

Leads regional financial close, reporting, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and healthcare-specific revenue accounting across multiple entities.

Maintains strong internal controls, ensures compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and healthcare reporting requirements, and supports audit readiness.

Manages, mentors, and develops accounting staff while fostering accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Partners with regional and facility finance leaders on accounting guidance, operational support, budgeting/forecasting, system optimization, and process improvement.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5 years of related experience.
