Entry Level Accountant

We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join a food processing organization in Denver, Colorado. The role will contribute to accurate financial records, timely transaction processing, and dependable support for core accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and help ensure payments are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with customer billing and incoming payment tracking to maintain organized and current accounts receivable records.
• Perform bank statement reviews and reconcile transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations to keep financial data accurate and complete.
• Prepare and record routine journal entries in alignment with established accounting procedures.
• Maintain orderly accounting files and documentation for audits, reporting, and internal review purposes.
• Work with team members across departments to clarify transaction details and address payment or invoice issues.
• Contribute to month-end close activities by gathering information, updating records, and assisting with account analysis.
