Accounts Payable Manager

Our client, a growing health services organization, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This interim opportunity offers strong potential for contract-to-hire conversion and the chance to make an immediate impact during a critical period of growth. The ideal candidate will bring effective leadership capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a high level of attention to detail.

• Lead and oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including high-volume invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment execution.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance across AP processes while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.
• Utilize and optimize Sage Intacct and Yooz to drive efficient workflows and accurate system integration.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhanced workflows, automation and controls to scale operations.
• Provide hands‑on leadership, guidance and support to the AP team while delivering reporting and visibility into key AP metrics and performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume accounts payable operations in a large public company environment.
• Proficiency with ERP and AP automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance, audit processes and continuous improvement best practices.
