Accounting Lead
Salary: $75,000 to $110,000
Accounting Lead – Why This Opportunity Stands OutWe are seeking an Accounting Lead for a growing organization that offers the opportunity to step into a high-impact working lead role. This position is ideal for a Senior Accountant who is ready to expand their responsibilities by mentoring teammates, coordinating workflow, and partnering closely with finance leadership while remaining hands‑on with the accounting function.

- Competitive salary of $75,000 to $110,000 (target hiring range is expected to be $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience)

– Key Responsibilities
- Lead key components of the month‑end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, annual audits, and regulatory reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate workflow across the accounting team, mentor teammates, and serve as a resource on day‑to‑day accounting matters.
- Partner with finance leadership to identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support accounting system enhancements.
- Assist with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in a high‑volume, transaction‑intensive accounting environment is strongly preferred. Financial services, commercial leasing, or banking experience is highly valued. Public accounting experience is a significant plus.
- Strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
