Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a multi‑client environment and serves as a trusted resource for client companies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. As a Payroll Specialist, you won't just be pushing buttons; you'll be a vital partner to our clients, ensuring their most valuable assets – their people – are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle payroll for multiple client companies in isolved
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders regarding payroll inquiries, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Audit payroll data for accuracy including wage garnishments, tax jurisdictions, and benefit deductions.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on payroll processing experience, preferably in a PEO, HRO, or multi‑client environment
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and multi‑state payroll tax regulations
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client payrolls simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client‑service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with isolved payroll software
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with multi‑state payroll processing across 10 or more states
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and manages shifting priorities with composure
