Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $155,000 to $195,000 per year.

• Manage tax compliance activities and oversee preparation of tax filings for business entities and investment structures.
• Review investor reporting documents and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and timely distribution.
• Coordinate tax reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions while meeting filing deadlines and regulatory obligations.
• Lead responses to tax notices audits and information requests from government agencies and external parties.
• Partner with accounting legal and investment teams to support tax reporting and strategic planning initiatives.

• 5+ years of tax experience within public accounting corporate tax or related environments.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of partnership taxation entity compliance requirements and tax reporting principles.
• Possess experience managing tax filings across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Maintain proficiency with Excel and tax compliance software used for reporting and analysis.
• Hold a CPA designation or possess the ability to obtain professional certification preferred.

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate complex tax matters and reporting issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders external advisors and regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrate leadership skills through management of tax professionals consultants or service providers.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Bring experience within real estate investment environments publicly traded entities or complex ownership structures considered beneficial.
