Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

A local Denver company seeks a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join their team.

Summary of Duties:

• Prepare weekly Accounts Payable payments for approval, mail payments, and make EFT/online payments.
• Bank reconciliations
• Month end close responsibilities (journal entries, etc)
• Back up for Payroll
• Filing Property tax and Sales taxes
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Utilize professional accounting judgement on a regular basis
• Assist with bid preparation/estimates & Financial analysis
• Cost accounting for construction work in process

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years of Accounting experience
• Accounts Payable experience
• Month end close experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry
