Staff Accountant

Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the distribution industry to find a Staff Accountant. This is a full time, permanent position in DTC. It is 100% in office, and is paying $80-95k + bonus.

• Collaborate with the accounting staff to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger
• Oversee the monthly accounting close process, delivering accurate financial data in a timely manner
• Establish and uphold financial controls in collaboration with the Accounting Manager and operating companies
• Manage the outsourced fixed asset register, and accurately record asset acquisitions and disposals
• Supervise centralized cash funding, intercompany transfers, and group cash management, including bank reconciliations
• Work with the corporate accounting team to provide internal and external reporting, and analyze key metrics and financial data to evaluate company performance
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
• Prepare journal entries and manage the general ledger
• Oversee the month-end close process and seek continuous process improvements.
