To ensure financial statements are fairly presented in accordance with GAAP by performing financial reporting engagement procedures and assisting in the preparation and proofing of financial statements. - Tech Stack:

- Perform financial reporting engagement procedures across several different industries.
- Assist in preparing and proofing financial statements and other related documents.
- Plan and execute operational and financial audits to ensure fair presentation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, utilizing the firm’s audit approach.
- Document working papers clearly and adequately, including completion of audit programs as directed by supervisors.
- Develop and perform effective analytical procedures on account balances, relating outcomes to other assigned areas as applicable.
- Background:
Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting with a GPA of 3.2 or higher; basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. - Experience:
Entry-level role; ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship. - Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong commitment to professional and client service excellence; knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and theory; proficiency with current technology and software for researching technical accounting issues.
