Junior Accountant

Salary: $60,000–$66,000
Location: 100% Remote – Colorado Residents Only

Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant to join a supportive, collaborative accounting team where you'll gain hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle. You'll work closely with an experienced Controller, build your technical accounting skills, and get exposure to everything from month-end close and financial reporting to audits, tax compliance, and Net Suite.

As the Junior Accountant, you'll have the opportunity to expand your accounting experience while supporting day-to-day and month-end activities, including:

• Prepare journal entries and record bank transactions

• Complete balance sheet and account reconciliations

• Assist with month-end close, including accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, and allocations

• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed

• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

• Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 reporting, and other accounting compliance

• Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits

• Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 1–3 years of accounting experience

• Experience supporting month-end close and account reconciliations

• Net Suite experience preferred

• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Comfortable communicating and collaborating in a remote environment

• Motivated to learn, take ownership, and continue developing professionally
