Senior Tax Accountant -Family Office

This role leads tax compliance and planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and their closely held businesses. You’ll work directly with senior leadership and executives, tackling sophisticated tax issues without the grind of traditional public accounting.

• Prepare & review complex federal and multi‑state returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and S corps
• Calculate basis, at‑risk amounts, and passive loss limitations
• Interpret partnership agreements and waterfall allocations
• Review forecasts and assist with quarterly/annual tax calculations
• Research income, gift, and estate tax issues
• Respond to federal and state tax notices

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance;
  Master’s in Tax preferred
• 2–4+ years of public accounting experience (individual, trust, partnership, S‑corp)
• Experience with real estate and 1031 transactions
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply tax law to real‑world scenarios
• Experience with Pro System fx and Checkpoint
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and eager to take ownership
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
