The Central Admin Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising a team of administrative staff (Program Assistants, Case Manager Is, Office Assistants) for the Central Admin and Referral teams. The Supervisor is responsible for the work of administrative professionals that support case managers and administrative functions, ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to departmental timelines and procedures. The Supervisor promotes RMHS’s mission statement and values by displaying proactive and dynamic collaborative efforts with team members and partners across the organization.
EssentialDuties
- Assigns activities and monitors performance of team members to ensure that tasks, responsibilities, and documentation are consistent.
- Ensures that tasks are compliant with departmental and organizational policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations.
- Provides supervision and guidance to staff.
- Identifies, develops, and provides training to staff for ongoing education, new processes/tasks, and corrective action.
- Oversees and updates team training materials.
- Assumes administrative professionals’ duties as necessary.
- Conducts administrative professionals' interviews and trains staff as vacancies are filled.
- Completes performance evaluations and performance improvement plans to ensure the delivery of quality supports, as well as supports staff on progress towards professional goals and initiatives.
- Monitors work assigned to each team member to ensure workload equity and compliance with documentation time frames and expectations.
- Examines ways to improve processes and implement support functions.
- Participates in organizational functions related to performance management, quality assurance, and other projects.
- Organizes and assigns projects as needed and requested.
- Acts as a resource to administrative professionals and other staff within the organization
- Actively participates in RMHS meetings and/or committees to maximize collaboration.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to provide supervision and direction to a team of administrative professional staff.
- Experience with multiple computer systems and ability to learn state operated systems such as Care and Case Management System (CCM), Interchange (Bridge), Peak Pro, Case Logic, and Astro
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft software programs.
- Detail oriented and well-organized.
- Knowledge and experience with administrative professional functions, preferably within a regulated environment such as Medicaid.
- Ability to make analytical decisions and prioritize as needed.
- Experience with the use of data and technology.
- Knowledge of long-term services and supports preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism with internal and external staff and stakeholders.

- Ability to drive personal or company vehicle
- Bachelor’s degree
- Extensive administrative professional experience
- Minimum one year of supervisory.
- Experience working with long-term services and supports (LTSS) population, in a private or public agency, which can substitute for the required education on a year for year basis; or
- A combination of LTSS experience and education, demonstrating a strong emphasis in a human behavioral science field.
