This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating moving pieces, solving problems, and helping keep production moving across multiple active jobs. We are looking for someone who brings prior experience supporting construction or field operations and can step into a dynamic environment with confidence.
We are willing to train our systems, processes, and workflows, but applicants should bring previous experience supporting construction, scheduling, dispatch, production coordination, field operations, or similar operational environments.
This position works directly with company leadership and field supervision to keep crews productive, schedules moving, equipment coordinated, and jobs ready for execution. What You'll Do
Project & Production Coordination
* Coordinate project starts and maintain production schedules across multiple active communities and jobs
* Monitor builder releases and support daily production planning
* Track project readiness and adjust schedules as conditions change
* Maintain visibility across active work and communicate updates proactively
Utility Locate Management
* Submit and manage utility locate requests
* Track locate completion and expiration dates
* Coordinate re-locates and resolve scheduling impacts
* Ensure crews are not dispatched without required locates in place
Dispatch & Field Operations Support
* Coordinate daily dispatch of crews, operators, trucks, and equipment
* Support field supervisors with scheduling and production needs
* Respond quickly to changes related to weather, inspections, builder requests, and field conditions
* Communicate priorities and maintain operational flow
Equipment & Resource Coordination
* Track equipment assignments and availability
* Coordinate equipment movement between projects
* Monitor downtime and support maintenance scheduling
* Maintain operational visibility of company assets
Administrative & Operations Support
* Maintain project records and operational tracking tools
* Coordinate deliveries, vendors, permits, and supporting documentation
* Review and process field time records for accuracy and completeness
* Coordinate with field supervisors to resolve discrepancies and verify time reporting before payroll processing
* Support payroll preparation through accurate tracking and documentation of field hours
* Maintain production reporting and operational records
* Identify issues early and help resolve operational bottlenecks
What Success Looks Like
* Crews start work prepared and on schedule
* Utility locates are completed and tracked
* Equipment is available where and when needed
* Communication between office and field remains clear
* Field time reporting is accurate and timely
* Projects continue moving with minimal disruption
* Field supervisors stay focused on execution-not paperwork
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience supporting construction, field operations, dispatch, scheduling, production coordination, utilities, excavation, residential building, or similar operational environments required
* Experience managing multiple active priorities and deadlines
* Strong scheduling, communication, and organizational skills
* Comfortable making decisions and adapting quickly in a changing environment
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and project tracking systems
Preferred Experience
* Residential production construction
* Excavation or site development operations

Compensation & Benefits
* Hourly position: $28.00-$38.00 per hour DOE
* Overtime eligible
