Job Summary
Front Range Community College (FRCC) seeks a Systems & Records Support Specialist in the Office of the Registrar. The specialist supports academic systems, maintains student records, ensures compliance, and provides front‑line support to students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities- Maintain student records and curriculum in Banner and related systems
- Process major changes and campus selection updates
- Conduct catalog year updates and ensure alignment with curriculum changes
- Implement curriculum fixes and collaborate on teach‑out plan reviews
- Review reports on major declaration and program details to identify discrepancies and updates
- Prepare the 85/15 report for Military/Veteran Services every semester
- Support degree verifications and respond to related inquiries from stakeholders
- Back up the NC‑SARA point of contact, managing student communications and ensuring compliance with state authorization requirements
- Screen documents for supplemental application programs and provide guidance and troubleshooting to students
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication templates for supplemental admissions
- Provide basic troubleshooting for degree audit software (Degree Check) and refer complex issues to the coordinator
- Research and resolve student record discrepancies and system‑related issues
- Support testing and implementation of system updates related to academic records and planning tools
- Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and ticketing systems with professionalism and adherence to FERPA
- Support communication efforts related to academic records, curriculum updates, and supplemental admissions
- Manage documentation, support workflows, and assist with broader initiatives as needed
- Provide back‑up support across functional areas to ensure consistent service
- Participate in departmental and divisional committees and work groups as requested
- Assist with college events and division‑sponsored activities to enhance student support
- 36 months of professional, general administrative or office support experience (part‑time experience will be pro‑rated)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Cover letter describing interest in the position, alignment with minimum qualifications, and completed employment details
- College or university degree may substitute for administrative experience on a year‑for‑year basis
- Transcripts verifying the required credits must be received by the Final date to receive applications if substitution is used
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check
- Eligibility to apply for a vacation or internal referral if applicable (as stated in the posting)

- Event Planning – schedule rooms, plan, manage, and facilitate events
