Utilities Right of Way Agent - Denver, CO - (1789)
Location:
Denver, CO (candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office but must reside within a 50-mile radius of ORC's Denver, CO office)
Schedule:
Full-time, Exempt | Report to ORC's Denver, CO office weekly
Travel:
Candidate can expect to travel locally and throughout Colorado about 50% of the time

- Acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations
- Support the Project Manager and project team members
- Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
- Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines
- Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills
- Is analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a fast‑paced administrative setting
- Can adapt to new systems and software environments
- Has a minimum of two (2) years of Right of Way Acquisition experience
- Is an active Colorado Notary or can obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Has an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems
- Has a valid Driver's License
Experience working on electric transmission projects and/or previous real estate experience
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This employee is required to occasionally travel to government buildings which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
Relocation and per diem are not provided.
