Job Overview
Part‑time administrative assistant position responsible for assisting staff with a high level of customer service, communication and problem solving to maintain and promote sales and business growth. Job hours: approximately 20 hours per week, Monday‑Thursday 8:30 AM–2:00 PM or as needed. Salary range: $20–$30 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities- Distribution of incoming mail: opening, sorting, and scanning.
- Processing outgoing mail, including Fed Ex and UPS labels and using the mail machine.
- Provide light IT support such as setting up new employee computers, desks, and phones.
- Assist with equipment inventory and with ordering, organizing, stocking, and maintaining kitchen, copy and mail rooms.
- Assist with conferences, event planning, and career fair coordination (brochures, swag, and supplies).
- Assist with colleague volunteer and social committee activities.
- Handle office‑related maintenance requests.
- Set up meetings, order meals, greet/escort guests, test and prepare equipment.
- Handle gifting for office, including client and team member gifts.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Understanding of maintaining confidentiality.
- Alignment with the organization’s core values and culture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 1–3 years of experience as an administrative assistant.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
- Must be physically present to complete duties during agreed office hours.
- Hourly pay range of $20–$30.
