Senior Donor Services & Stewardship Coordinator

National Jewish Health is seeking a Senior Donor Services & Stewardship Coordinator to join the Development team. This role supports donor stewardship and gift records by preparing tax receipts, validating donor and donation data, and ensuring the accuracy of donor records. The position plays an important role in maintaining strong donor relationships through timely acknowledgments, responsive communication, and close collaboration with internal partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepares, proofs, and mails tax receipts and donor acknowledgments, including weekly receipts and daily tribute cards.
  • Verifies gift processing and donor data against source documentation and updates records in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.
  • Processes matching gifts and partners with the Finance Department to reconcile and resolve gift record discrepancies.
  • Responds to donor inquiries by phone and mail with a high level of customer service.
  • Assists with special projects and provides backup coverage as needed.

Position Summary Responsible for preparing tax receipts ($500+), validating data and identifying changes required on donor records & donations.

Essential Duties

  • Processes technical and complex projects such as correspondence, acknowledgements, tracking, memos, best practices, documentation, reports, charts, lists, tables, short statistical reports, and proofing.
  • Verifies gift processing data entry against source documentation, identifies errors and makes appropriate changes in Raiser's Edge.
  • Creates, proofs and mails weekly tax receipts/acknowledgements and daily tribute cards.
  • Processes matching gifts and makes database changes as needed.
  • Handles donor phone calls and responds to donor comment mail.
  • Works with Finance Department to assure accuracy of gift records, outlining change requests and tracking them until completion.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.
