Project Administrator – Service Department

Trane Technologies seeks a Project Administrator to support our Service Department. The role focuses on routine project documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative close‑outs.

The Project Administrator works closely with the Admin Team Leader, Area Service Managers, and assigned service team members to ensure each project is completed on time.

Responsibilities
  • Process service agreements in the system application.
  • Handle quoted and time & material (T&M) billing and invoicing.
  • Manage various billing and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with team members to accurately record service costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, and daily reports.
  • Perform general administrative functions, such as issuing purchase orders.
  • Generate, interpret, and print assigned reports.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members.
Qualifications
  • One‑year certificate from college or technical school plus three (3) years of related billing experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, independent, and team‑oriented work style.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC system operation preferred, but not required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Experience participating in lean improvement activities.
Compensation

Annual Base Salary Range: $59,153.33 – $83,090.00 (Hourly variables may apply). No incentive, commission, or sales bonus.
