Position: PPC Clinic Assistant – [Full-Time GSA award AY26-27]

  • Check clients in and out to maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Validate client parking following established protocols.
  • Collect all required fees and copayments at the time of service.
  • Manage room scheduling within the Titanium Scheduling system.
  • Oversee all incoming PPC communications (phone and email).
  • Providing administrative support with billing, scanning, filing, and copying.
  • Assisting student clinicians with all questions and requests for supplies and testing/assessment materials.
  • Providing additional support to specialty clinics as needed (CUB, STURM, TDRC, etc.), including their chart audits.
  • Triage incoming questions from patients via phone and email; seek guidance from providers and clinical staff as appropriate. This includes daily monitoring and timely response to incoming messages in the electronic medical record system (Titanium) and the PPC inbox.
  • Compliance with the GSPP Clinical Services Manual is required for all Clinic Assistants. Please refer to MyDU for the latest procedural updates and policy guidelines.
  • Performing phone screens
    * for potential clients and providing referrals as necessary.
    • Completion of the phone screen task can be counted towards the clinical hours’ academic requirement.
  • Full-time CAs are also assigned special projects such as terminations, waitlist management, and assistance with assessment-related tasks, among others.
  • Additional duties may be agreed upon between you and your supervisor from time to time.

Required Qualifications
  • The student must be in and maintain good academic standing.
  • This position is open to students in any graduate program at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP).
    • Please note that applications are restricted to GSPP graduate students only; submissions from undergraduates or external applicants will not be reviewed.

Compensation and Benefits
  • This position is funded through a full‑time GSA award and requires a commitment of 20 hours per week.
  • Compensation is $6,757/quarter for MA‑level students and $7,508/quarter for PsyD‑level students. Additionally, this position offers a 10‑credit tuition waiver per quarter.
  • GSA Awards are granted one academic year at a time. The current award is available for the 26-27 academic year, which includes Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.
  • This is an on‑campus, in‑person position requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week.
  • Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday‑Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
    • You will be asked about your available hours every quarter and scheduled accordingly.
  • Once the schedule is assigned, you are expected to attend all shifts. If you cannot work your shift, you may be responsible for arranging a switch or coverage with another CA.
  • Applicant must be available to work during breaks between quarters when the clinic is open and on various special projects as assigned.
