Position Overview

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and ensuring a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience. You will also support a variety of administrative and office functions as needed. Working closely with both providers and patients, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient daily operations while delivering a high standard of compassionate care.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys a dynamic, patient‑facing role.

Travel Requirement

This is an on‑site position based in our Denver office.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately, including taking accurate, detailed messages and ensuring timely follow‑up.
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients both by phone and in person.
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and efficiently manage the check‑in and check‑out process.
  • Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) system to:
  • Verify insurance coverage and process disability forms.
  • Confirm that referrals and prior authorizations are obtained and documented.
  • Update patient demographic information as needed.
  • Collect co‑pays and outstanding balances in a professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Requirements
  • 1‑2 years of experience working in a professional medical office environment responsible for the front desk, or a similar role.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using Mod Med.
  • The ability to handle challenging situations with extreme patience and professionalism.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing daily tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, coworkers, and vendors in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Must be committed and reliable, reporting to work on time as scheduled to ensure business needs are met.
  • Experience working in a team environment and an understanding of the commitment to be collaborative.
  • Must be able to ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Respectfully accepts coaching and guidance provided constructively to ensure continual improvement, career growth, and development.
  • PC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understands that additional tasks may be assigned to meet business needs.
