The National Western Stock Show thrives on the dedication and commitment of seasonal staff who help to ensure the success of our annual event. As a seasonal HR Assistant, you will play an essential role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing 500+ seasonal employees. You’ll assist with completing new-hire paperwork, answering staff questions, and ensuring all employee files are accurate and compliant.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a passion for people, and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
Director of Human Resources
Roles & Responsibilities- Assists with the recruitment process for seasonal employees, including posting job openings and coordinating interviews.
- Supports the onboarding process by preparing new-hire paperwork, ensuring timely completion, and collecting necessary documentation.
- Responds to inquiries from staff regarding employment details, onboarding, and general HR-related questions.
- Audits new hire files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
- Assists with the setup and maintenance of employee records, both digital and physical.
- Provides administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, filing, and data entry as needed.
