As a temporary employee of the state personnel system, you are employed at will and are not eligible for the same benefits as permanent employees, such as health insurance and annual leave. However, temporary employees are eligible for sick leave and retirement benefits.

Salary Range:
$22.40 - $27.97 (HOURLY)
$1,791.69 - $2,237.54 (BIWEEKLY)
$3,882.00 - $4,848.00 (MONTHLY)

This position will assist the Data Specialist team and is directly responsible for high volumes of daily data entry (Change of Address, Entry of Appearance, Objections, Workers’ Claims for Compensation, Employer First Reports, Notices of Contest, General Admission of Liability, Final Admission of Liability, Final Payment, and other miscellaneous documents), daily screening and researching of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) error reports to determine appropriate and timely resolution, and streamlining EDI error processes and procedures to both internal and external stakeholders.

This position employs independent decision-making through the utilization of provided databases (CoComp, NCCI, My UI, Secretary of State website) to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with established Rules, Regulations, and Objectives, while exercising effective communication between departments for the State of Colorado and external stakeholders. This position may assist the Supervisor with Social Security Number verifications, duplicate Claim Mergers, and other tasks as needed to ensure outstanding and prompt customer service and information exchange.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience Only: Three (3) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position to include:
