I know what it feels like to be unappreciated as a great automotive technician. I know how it feels to not have your voice heard. To work with broken or no shop tools. To feel like nothing we do matters. I was there for a long time. So I made sure that my shop was going to be anything but that!
Auto Lab was opened over 17 years ago. From the day I opened my doors I vowed to change how this industry views automotive repair. I wanted to be the shop that people talked about. I wanted to give my customer’s a product they could rave about. An experience that they could not get anywhere else.
In order to do that I had to create a culture where my employees were heard and part of something bigger than just a job. I wanted to create a shop built on mutual respect among every team member. I wanted to make sure we had every piece of tool and equipment needed to get the job done right. Most importantly, I wanted to always show appreciation and be the place where everyone wanted to work.
We have been working at this since the day we opened and we have no plans to stop.
Are we perfect...no way. But we strive for it every day. We have a team that is second to none and we build on our failures together and grow from them. We are without a doubt the fastest growing shop in the area and we need to add technicians, a foreman, and a service advisor to keep up with this growth.

In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their vehicle service experience, ensuring they receive exceptional care and clear communication. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help you confidently recommend services, upsell maintenance packages, and build lasting customer relationships.

- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, transmissions, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership or shop management software, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance plans that enhance vehicle performance and safety while meeting customer needs.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as mechanical diagnostics, automotive repair, and vehicle inspections.
- Manage service writing processes efficiently while handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain thorough records of all service activities, customer interactions, and parts used for each vehicle.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships that encourage repeat business.
