Role

Ready to be the growth engine of ESI Technologies? As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for building new commercial relationships and expanding our presence across Southern Colorado. You will identify, engage, and nurture strategic partnerships with business owners, property managers, and general contractors to expand ESI’s reach and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and engage commercial decision‑makers across your territory
  • Build a robust network of property owners, facility managers, and construction partners
  • Conduct needs assessments and educate prospects on ESI’s value and capabilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships that lead to recurring revenue opportunities
  • Coordinate estimates, proposals, and project hand‑offs with our Account Management team
  • Collaborate with marketing on local initiatives to drive brand awareness
  • Provide market insights and client feedback to leadership
  • Maintain a disciplined and transparent pipeline in CRM
  • Consistently track, report, and forecast business development activities
Results
  • Consistent growth of new commercial partnerships and opportunities
  • High‑quality relationships transitioned to Account Management with clear expectations
  • Revenue targets achieved through proactive territory development
  • CRM pipeline is updated daily, and key activities are documented
  • Market intelligence is shared regularly with the leadership team
  • Collaboration with operations ensures smooth project execution and client satisfaction
Requirements
  • Proven success in a business development, partnerships, or B2B growth role
  • 2+ years of experience developing relationships with commercial or enterprise accounts
  • Strong communicator and relationship‑builder, able to influence at the executive level
  • Confident presenting solutions and demonstrating value to commercial decision‑makers
  • Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and highly organized
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate, facilities, or construction industries (preferred)
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management
  • Based in Colorado with the ability to travel to client sites as needed
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $70,000–$90,000 depending on experience
  • Commission: % of new business
  • Residuals: % on multi‑year service agreements
  • On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $130,000–$175,000+
