Your Next Career Opportunity – Principal Business Development, Edge Infra SolutionsThis role focuses on leading the development and lifecycle of our edge data center solutions. The Principal Business Development, Edge Infra Solutions will be the voice of the customer, translating market needs into a compelling product roadmap and working cross-functionally to bring our products to market. This is a critical role for our company, as you will be responsible for defining the products that will power the next wave of technological innovation at the edge.
WhatYou Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and
Roadmap:
Define and own the product strategy for our edge data center solutions. This includes conducting market research, analyzing competitor offerings, and identifying new opportunities. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a clear, compelling product roadmap that aligns with company goals. - Customer and Market Insight:
Be the expert on our customers and the market. Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and analyze market trends to understand the needs of developers, enterprises, and service providers. Use this insight to inform product requirements and feature prioritization. - Product Definition and Requirements:
Write clear, concise, and comprehensive product requirements documents and use case stories. Work closely with asset development, NOC, engineering, marketing and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and requirements to establish defined product solutions. - Vendor & Indirect sales channel partner
Qualification:
Research and interview potential vendors to learn industry eco system to define leading edge competitive solutions which will help meet product requirements and collaborate with asset development to qualify those suitable for onboarding. Also, explore developing new sales channels (Calix, Nokia, NCTC, etc.) - Cross-Functional Leadership:
Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and launch. You will be the central point of communication, ensuring all teams are aligned and working towards a common goal. - Go-to-Market Strategy:
Partner with marketing and sales to develop and execute a successful go-to-market plan. This includes defining product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials. - Product Lifecycle Management:
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, adoption, and end-of-life. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), delivery intervals and customer feedback to iterate and improve products over time. - Stakeholder Communication:
