The Pricing Coordinator serves as the liaison for pricing support between suppliers, sales reps, and retailer customers. The role includes submission of accurate pricing and promotion information to retail customers via forms or online, maintenance of price files in VIP, accurate price books, monthly rebates and credit research and issuance. This position works closely with accounting, sales, procurement teams, and supplier and retailer representatives.
The role reports to the Pricing Manager.
- Data Entry (70%)
- Maintain accurate information and price files for convenience, liquor, and small grocery chain communications.
- Input new items into correct price files in VIP / 99 Bottles to ensure accurate pricing and discounting.
- Process non‑Alc pricing adjustments from suppliers and manage discount programs.
- Grade sales rep submissions for monthly sales incentives.
- Accounting (10%)
- Reconcile online portal depletions and prepare monthly bill‑back files for assigned suppliers.
- Match purchase orders to invoice transactions and process timely, accurate supplier payments.
- Pricing Administration (20%)
- Coordinate and authorize products for various retailers within VIP after confirmation with sales reps and suppliers.
- Setup new items in VIP, including glassware and other miscellaneous items.
- Generate price books for sales reps and suppliers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the beer industry with emphasis on analytics.
- Previous pricing experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and VIP or similar accounting system.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and process implementation abilities.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments in a fast‑paced environment.
- Competitive base salary range: $51,000 – $66,900 (actual pay based on experience and equity).
- Target short‑term incentive: 5 %.
