National Sales Manager

Our client, a growing chocolate and specialty candy platform, is hiring a National Sales Manager to drive distribution expansion across Mass, Drug, Grocery, and Specialty channels.

This is a high-impact role for a strong CPG seller ready to take ownership of national growth initiatives within a scaling confectionery business.

• Drive new distribution across Mass and Drug retailers
• Expand Tier 3–4 accounts including specialty, gifting, hotels, and regional retailers
• Identify white space opportunities and build actionable penetration strategies
• Lead HQ and regional buyer calls
• Develop retailer-specific pitch decks and assortment strategies
• Manage broker relationships to ensure aligned execution
• Conduct business reviews with broker and distributor partners
• Monitor trade spend, promotional ROI, and margin performance
• Leverage SPINS, IRI, Circana, and POS data to support retailer pitches
• Analyze velocity trends and competitive landscape
• Represent the brands at 10–15 trade shows annually
• Travel regularly for retailer meetings and market visits

• 5–8+ years of CPG sales experience
• Chocolate, candy, or premium snack experience strongly preferred
• Experience calling on Mass, Drug, Grocery, or Specialty accounts
• HQ-level retailer meeting exposure
• Strong broker management background
• Data-driven seller comfortable using syndicated data tools
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
