Opportunity Overview

You will support the project team with advanced procurement transaction activities (equipment, services and subcontracts) and may expand to assignment on multiple projects. Your role includes procurement administration, closeout, and proposal development.

• Provide support to the project team with advanced procurement transaction activities.
• Support other procurement duties, including expediting, procurement administration, closeout and proposal development.
• Lead others with transactional responsibilities, while requiring minimal supervision.

• Prepare contract documents and bidders list.
• Prepare, issue and manage the bidding process.
• Lead and manage the evaluation process, including distribution of quotations, preparation of the commercial portion of the bid tabulation, and collaboration with engineering and construction on technical and constructability evaluations.
• Make recommendations for selected bidder(s) and award decisions.
• Lead, schedule, coordinate, and manage the negotiation process.
• Resolve complex commercial terms and conditions exceptions.
• Manage the award and conformity process.
• Resolve mildly complex claim or dispute events with vendors.
• May lead the solicitation of budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a non‑major project or projects.
• Be proficient in the basic functions of the vendor database.
• Train others in the function of a Procurement Representative with minimal supervision.
• File appropriate record documents and follow corporate and project filing rules.
• May be responsible for developing set‑up documents and processes for new project(s).
• May provide input to portions of new and/or revised procedures or documents.
• Serve as an individual contributor with no subordinates.

• BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.

Travel may be required.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
