Position Overview

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain reports to the VP of Procurement and is responsible for fully owning and driving end‑to‑end supply chain execution and outcomes that ensure consistent product availability, cost control, and operational reliability across all Snooze restaurants. This role translates procurement strategy into clear, measurable operational results while proactively managing cost, risk, and supply continuity across the system.

This position leads core supply chain functions including inventory management, distributor performance, vendor compliance, contract execution, pricing accuracy, and system data integrity. The Senior Manager of Supply Chain is accountable for translating procurement strategy into day‑to‑day operational execution, partnering closely with culinary, operations, finance, and external partners to support menu rollouts, new restaurant openings, and ongoing supply continuity.

This role leverages strong analytical and technical skills to monitor performance metrics, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement across the supply network. The overall impact of this role is to reduce disruption, improve in‑stock performance, manage cost and risk, and enable Snooze’s growth through a scalable, disciplined supply chain operation.

Supply Chain Operations
  • Oversee and execute daily administrative tasks within the purchasing department, including but not limited to: managing out of stocks, inventory levels, special orders and freight across broadline distribution to minimize risk and identify opportunities.
  • Support restaurant operations through various operational enhancements and product improvements.
  • Support on all new restaurant opening needs in collaboration with training team and local management team. This includes new vendor set up, ordering information and order guides, distributor contact info, processes, and beginning inventory support.
  • Communicate weekly with Regional Managers on projects and purchasing updates.
Vendor Management & Supplier Performance
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, attending business reviews and assisting with integration of sustainability and environmental awareness.
  • Manage quality assurance issues and resolution with vendors.
  • Maintain HACCP files & vendor compliance.
  • Maintain “Snooze Approved” to include vetting of suppliers, spec sheets, ingredient statements and caloric impact.
  • Coordinate, execute and implement department processes to include specifications, bid process, score carding, RFI’s and RFP’s.
  • Drive supplier performance management, including ongoing score carding and accountability for service levels, quality, and responsiveness.
Financial, Contracting & Data Management
  • Own and maintain contract management, renewals, monthly pricing audits and financial analysis of impacts.
  • Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting to include price and market trends.
  • Maintain inventory platform to include new item setup and mapping, vendor setups, vendor integrations, SUPC’s, recipes, mapping, and more.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with the menu innovation and culinary team on all research and development, pilots, request of samples, SKU rationalization, LTO needs, availability of products, forecasting, costs and communication across all regions.
  • Establish rapport with our Snoozer management teams and communicate directly with restaurant leadership regarding product specifications, quality concerns, and general purchasing improvements.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment across culinary, operations, and finance to ensure consistent execution and decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with Vice President of Purchasing and Chief Financial Officer to meet all department goals.

Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned to meet Snooze’s business and operational goals and priorities.
