A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Fund Strategy & Implementation Manager to join its growing team. This individual will play a key role in launching new investment products, onboarding complex investment structures, and driving strategic initiatives across the organization.
This is a highly visible position that sits at the intersection of fund operations, product management, client solutions, and business strategy. The successful candidate will serve as a central coordinator across multiple internal and external stakeholders, helping bring new investment programs to market while ensuring operational excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and launch of new investment products, fund structures, and strategic initiatives from concept through execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, accounting, operations, technology, sales, and external service providers.
- Manage onboarding activities for institutional clients, separately managed accounts, and other customized investment solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities throughout the implementation process.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies that support scalability and long-term growth.
- Partner closely with business development and client-facing teams to evaluate and support new product opportunities and client solutions.
- Lead complex cross-functional projects and ensure successful delivery against timelines and business objectives.
- Support the development and mentoring of junior team members while contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client, investor, and stakeholder experience through innovation and operational excellence.
- 8+ years of experience within asset management, alternative investments, investment operations, fund administration, product management, client onboarding, or related financial services environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex implementations, product launches, onboarding initiatives, or operational transformation projects.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple teams.
- Proven track record of process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Experience working with institutional investment products, fund structures, or alternative investment vehicles strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, clients, and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced credentials such as CFA, CAIA, MBA, or related certifications are a plus.
