Position description and responsibilities:Support all aspects of the value-based care deal negotiation process, including contracting and negotiation strategy, financial analysis and pricing insights, and project management
Responsible for all negotiation analytics, including partnering closely with DaVita’s actuarial team, developing financial impact models in coordination with our analyst team, and building ad-hoc analyses independently, as needed
Engage broader team with thoughtful and creative value-based care financial structures to support payor negotiations
Perform ad-hoc strategic analyses that answer sometimes ambiguous but critical questions and inform our overall negotiation strategy
Present analysis findings and conclusions to senior executives in a structured and comprehensive way
1+ years quantitative and analytical skills
Proven track record of problem-solving abilities needed to develop strategy and direction within complex market
Enjoys owning complicated, fast paced deliverables and is comfortable navigating uncertain and ambiguous challenges with support of senior teammates
Ability to thought-partner across multiple stakeholders, and demonstrated experience in driving forward-progress for complex projects
Solid communication skills; can develop high quality, well formatted presentations and is comfortable communicating complex topics to a senior-level audience
Experience with in fast paced, deal-oriented teams in the corporate development, business development, banking, consulting or adjacent fields
Action-oriented doer who sees themselves as a combination of contributor and leader as they move their organization successfully down strategic pathways
High degree of creativity, intelligence, and curiosity. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities. Ability to rapidly learn and perform exceptionally in fast-paced, matrix environment
Strong interpersonal skills and communications style that will develop confidence in the team they lead and keep the attention of the broader organization
High degree of comfort in ambiguity
Previously demonstrated abilities as a consensus builder. Strong, self-confident, decisive leader with good listening skills. Self-starter with drive and initiative
Emotional maturity and ability to create change in an environment where the structure may evolve rapidly
Able to work in an environment where sharing responsibility for success and failure of others on the team is critical to the overall success of the company

The Salary Range for the role is $62,000.00-$95,000.00 per year.
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Learn more at
