This position will be responsible for Sales Operations and Business analysis for the Education and State and Local Government team within the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Sales Operations organization. It will enable significant business impact through monthly and quarterly metrics, modeling, reporting, forecasting, operations support and data quality.
The role will lead the formalization of financial and business reporting for the Education and State and Local Government team within WWPS. It acts as a strategic partner to the sales team, owning requirements for dashboards, advising on operational metrics and key performance indicators to support the rapid growth of AWS public sector business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of Worldwide Public Sector reporting and analysis ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting
- Provide strategic analysis and year-over-year, quarterly and monthly trend analysis
- Conduct market and industry analysis for education and state and local government markets
- Help author narratives and provide data insights and analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews
- Provide sales operations support to cross‑functional teams across SLG/EDU, including Greenfield Acceleration, Marketplace, Specialists, CSMs, and act as a primary backup and SME to support field operations analysts during peak seasons
- Own annual quota and/or goal‑setting process for support teams in coordination with external WWSO or WWPS teams
- Operate as a strategic partner to the Operations leader for SLG/EDU
- Work closely with Finance to support headcount management
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is – USD annually. The Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
