Utilities Right of Way Agent – Full‑time, onsite position based in Denver, CO. The role supports the acquisition of rights‑of‑way for distribution and electrical transmission projects within a 50‑mile radius of the ORC Denver office.

- Acquire Right‑of‑Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations.
- Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members.
- Prepare real estate documents.
- Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information.
- Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition.
- Perform general administrative tasks.
- Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
- Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
- Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills.
- Is analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced administrative setting.
- Provides strong customer service experience.
- Can adapt to new systems and software environments.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Right of Way Acquisition experience.
- Active Colorado Notary or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience working on electric transmission projects.
- Previous real estate experience.
- Regularly required to communicate in person, via phone and e‑mail.
- Substantial repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing.
- Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen.
- Occasionally required to move around office to access files and equipment.
- Occasional travel to government buildings, including driving for long durations.
