Actuarial Business Systems Analyst

Business Analyst I – Galveston, TX

Support the development of actuarial products and systems as a key member of the Actuarial Product Development team. This role involves enhancing skills in actuarial science, system analysis, and programming while contributing to product innovation.

• Continuously develop expertise in actuarial science and system analysis.
• Create and refine calculation models for life and annuity products.
• Provide procedural and administrative support to business partners across the enterprise.
• Participate in day‑to‑day functions such as data analysis, rate development, product illustration, and business support.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical ability to model life insurance and annuity concepts with algebraic functions.
• Fundamental understanding of programming logic for applications requiring procedural and functional logic.
• Interpersonal skills to promote cooperation at all levels.
• Analytical tenacity to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
