The Program Manager will implement and manage overall administration for rural-focused and strategic community programming within the Business Funding and Incentives Division at the Office of Economic Development and International Trade. The role primarily manages the Rural Jump-Start Tax Incentive and Grant Program, helps administer the Skill Advance program, provides support for the Enterprise Zone program, and collaborates with regional partners, community colleges, and state agencies to foster economic development across Colorado.
Keyqualifications
- 8 years post-secondary education and experience in program, policy, or project management or related field
- Ability to understand and articulate funding and incentive programs and their economic development impacts
- Knowledge of Colorado's communities and regional economic needs
- Experience drafting formal documents including contracts, statements of work, and requests for proposals
- Strong interpersonal, public relations, and presentation skills with demonstrated passion for public service and rural economic development
