Job Overview & Essential Functions

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Field Management Trainee. position is based on skill development toward a future management position. Training and skill development will be focused in the following areas:
Parts, Service, Body Shop, Warranty, New and Used Truck Sales, and Dealership Administration functions.

* Follow assigned training schedule and timelines as outlined by management.

* Focus on key skills necessary to understand and succeed in all assigned areas of the company.

* Active and participative in all assigned areas; ability to handle multiple tasks.

* Hands on during training. Skills and performance must be demonstrated before moving on to the next training phase.

* Establishes and maintains a working relationship with MHC management team, vendors, and customers.

* Attends vendor sponsored events as required (including evening or weekend assignments.)

* Flexible to changes deemed necessary by management.

* Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree is preferred.

* Leadership and sales skills required.

* Strong commitment to excellence and customer service.

* Previous automotive or truck experience a plus.

* Basic PC skills including Word and Excel required.

* Must be willing to travel throughout training process.

* Must be willing to relocate at time of permanent placement.
