Job Description Summary
Lead an internal sales team supporting Transamerica Workplace retirement plans. Foster a sales and
service environment to ensure customer satisfaction and the attainment of sales goals.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and support a team focused on generating sales and providing service support to the advisor and partner community.
- Partner with assigned divisional VP to develop strategies and business plans to be adopted by the team.
- Track team productivity, key performance indicators, and sales results.
- Conduct coaching, sit-ins, and call reviews with staff as needed.
- Participate in hiring decisions and manage staffing levels to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Seek and maintain expert level knowledge of company products, industry regulations, and the competitive landscape.
- Generate monthly reports on productivity and sales results for senior leadership.
- Manage escalations and source solutions for clients and advisors, including technology issues.
- Represent the company and department at divisional, industry, partner, and recruiting events.
- Provide support for product launches, projects, etc. as required.
Qualifications
- Three years of internal wholesaling experience
- Thorough knowledge of financial services, the advisory landscape, and retirement plans
- FINRA Series 6 / 7, 63, 24 / 26
- Life license
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead others
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business
- Experience with Salesforce, Goggle Analytics, Hub Spot, etc.
Working Conditions
- Office or hybrid office / remote environment
- Occasional travel
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $81,000-$85,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 15% based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at the Company's discretion.
